Top Two Masks of 2018

I love #maskmonday and #selfcaresunday and the masks I’m about to talk about are my favorite of 2018.

1.) The Super Hydrating Sheet Mask – GLOW BOOSTING (ranges from $2.50- $2.99 USD)

This mask is AMAZING and I am not exaggerating one bit. It’s one of those mask you put on wait 15 minutes, remove and BAMMMM an instant glow, and I mean GLOW! Not only does it illuminate your skin it also hydrates. Another perk about this mask is that it drenches your skin and it’s easy to use. I typically use one of these sheet masks 2-3 times a week depending on if I have any but, I always try to make sure I repurchase.

Info about the mask: A water based sheet mask that is free of parabens, and oils. Half of a bottle of hydrating serum is added to each sheet mask which explains why it’s drenched in serum when it’s removed from the packaging.

Sheet masks can sometimes be a pain but, this mask has a blue film on it that it a different texture than the sheet mask which makes it easier to use. After removing place onto clean dry skin and leave on for 15 minutes. After removes and rub in the remainder of the products that’s left on your face gently.

2.) Orgins – Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores (ranges from $17.50-$28.00 USD depending on the size)

This mask is hands down the best clay mask I have ever used and I’ve tried many. First off, this mask is great for all skin types and it’s supposed to awaken dull skin, eliminate pores and help with oiliness.

What makes this mask such a good buy for me is that is really does help with dullness and pores. Every once in a while I look in the mirror and notice my skin looks tired, and I have no glow and this usually happens in the summer for me because my skin tends to look dry during the Texas summers. So, I used this 1-2 times a week and it really helped balance my skin.

Info about the mask: The active charcoal does an amazing job at drawing out all of the toxins that sit on your skin from environmental damage. It will take your dull skin and refresh it without over drying. The bamboo charcoal helps with over production of oil but doesn’t strip your skin too much of it’s natural production. Remember oil isn’t our enemy but, if you don’t clean your skin daily it can overproduce and lead to blackheads.

I normally use this product 1-2 times a week depending on how my skin looks and from there I apply a generous amount to dry clean skin. I let it sit for 10-15 minutes but, the instructions say 10. After rinse with warm water, pat dry and follow with your am/pm skincare routine.

Let me know what your favorites masks are and if you’ve tried the two I’ve listed. Also, I love recommendations so tell me yours!!
